Part of your every day healthy experience is having good quality air. When the air quality is not good outside, don’t despair!
There are MANY things you can do to help heal your air:
Use an air purifier indoors
Vacuum 1-2x weekly to clear ash from fires, or heavy air pollution which settles low
Use an air diffuser with essential oils of sage, rosemary, or cedar, that actively kill airborne pathogens
Gently simmer water on the stove with cedar or pine branches to improve indoor air quality
Purchase a gas mask with air filters strong enough for toxic chemical work, and use this when outside for an extended time
Keep fires, bbq's, candles, and other air pollutants to a minimum
Run your air conditioner or indoor or fan if you have central a/c
Don’t forget to change out filters! $$Broke?$$ Then pull them out and vacuum them before replacing
Use a water bottle to mist air indoors, as water will help clear the air
Fill out one online petition per day around global warming, climate, or anything else you believe in
BE the change you wish to see. Healthy air improves your lung capacity and supports your brain functions.
If you are currently in a state with high fires or other disasters, you can check out your air quality online at Purple Air or similar sites. If you notice that outdoor animals are in hiding from the air, it’s usually a good sign for you to create your indoor purified environment and drink supportive lung tea, or get out of your area for a temporary reprieve.
Is this a current issue for you?
