Memorial Day

Updated: May 21, 2022

Today I honor those who fought and died to protect the United States of America. I have never been in a battle for my life with guns and bombs, but I understand that it is my duty to also stand up for my freedom, my country, and the ethics and values I believe in, whether by voting, by keeping my local government accountable, or by staying educated about out our society.

Any kind of fight can create stress or trauma. Facing the possibility of imminent death is huge, and when I remember that all soldiers do this as they train for battle each day, I am deeply humbled. I feel even more committed to sharing holistic healing, light, and love.

I’m reminded that we all have gifts, and the healthy evolution of our country requires all of us to offer the very best of what we have, to our death.

We’re in a revolution right now. It’s just beginning. There are a lot of people that are hopeful for a healthy change by the year’s end, and just as many who are deeply afraid of the times. Remembering the sacrifice our soldiers have made, can give us all the strength to be our very best right now.

Part of how you can honor your beloved warrior's death is to keep living as fiercely and truly as possible. Have a blessed Memorial Day.
